The recent digital revolution has brought fantastic opportunities to the area of wedding photography. New technologies not only produce exceptionally sharp crisp images but brings with it enormous benefits for your portfolio. Photos can now be processed in black and white, sepia, or colour after capturing the image in full colour and carrying out graphics adjustments to transform the image into the different tones. With film based coverage periods of the wedding have to be shot entirely in one tone before changing the film. For each photograph we take at the wedding the couple receives a copy of each of the tones on their Proofing CD so each can be previewed before making print or wedding book selection.

Another great advantage of digital wedding photography is the ability to crop, edit, colour adjust and remove unwanted articles from the photos. Images can be enhanced so they look their very best in the same way photography in publishing is processed. The ability to touch up photos and clone out aspects afterwards not only improves the whole composition and picture quality, but also allows us to work with speed and spontaneity to capture the very natural un-posed images we take.

For each of the Collections we also include 3 copies of a DVD slideshow of the entire portfolio (beneath), which can be played on any home DVD player or computer, and an online wedding gallery similar to a where friends and family can view all the photos and order their own copies if they wish. These benefits are only possible logistically with digital wedding photography due to the time it would take to scan all the images from film - each gallery contains up to 300 images you select, each in colour black & white and colour amounting to up to 900 images. The turnaround time of your photos for print and wedding book selection is much quicker than those typically experienced with film based services. We promise to have your proofing CD to make your print or wedding book selection within 10 working days of the wedding.
