Black and White Wedding Photography

The elegant and romantic nature of black and white photography is perfectly suited to weddings. Black and white wedding photography gives a classic and timeless feel to your wedding collection and also works very well with the artistic and reportage styles in our coverage of the day. Crowded backgrounds often disappear by removing competing colours to leave the purity of the subject being photographed, adding to the very natural feel of our photographs.

All of our wedding photography is captured digitally with state of the art professional grade cameras producing high resolution colour files of the photographs we take. From the colour files we then uniformly process each into a new file with a black and white finish, with the overall appearance easily adjusted with advanced graphics software to make each photograph look its very best.

The fantastic advantage of our proofing system is that we include a sepia, black & white and a colour image of each photograph on the proofing CD to select your prints or images for the wedding book, allowing you to preview which tones will work best for each photograph. Unlike a film based system this also allows every photograph to be processed in whichever toning you prefer and makes it possible to have multiple copies of the same photograph in sepia, black & white and colour. The restriction of a film based system is that periods of the wedding have to be photographed in a single tone as each has to be captured with a different film type.

To give you the flexibility to have whichever finish you like for each photograph then a digital based system is a must.
